Visit UMMS as an international medical student

As a leading U.S. academic medical center, Michigan Medicine and the University of Michigan Medical School (UMMS) is proud to welcome dozens of international medical students from around the world each year. Many come for short-term (1-2 month) clinical elective rotations. Others stay longer for in-depth research training. In either case, their presence enriches our Michigan Medicine community of learners and faculty alike.
