Closing out 2018 with Forums on partnerships in Africa

Global REACH wrapping up 2018 with a pair of Global Health Initiatives Forum events focused on partnerships in sub-Saharan Africa. Join us for conversations about ongoing partnerships in Ghana and growing collaborations in Uganda.

On Tuesday, Nov. 27, Ghana Platform Lead Cheryl Moyer, MPH, PhD, will lead a discussion about collaborations in Ghana, from longstanding partnerships spearheaded by Otolaryngology to newer collaborations in Psychiatry and Pathology. Learn more and RSVP here.

On Wednesday, Dec. 12, Sr. Associate Dean of Education and Global Inititiatives Joseph Kolars, MD, will lead discussion about emerging multidisciplinary partnerships in Uganda. Kolars took a sabbatical early this year to focus on growing partnerships across multiple institutions in Western Uganda. This August, a multidisciplinary team of students and faculty from medicine, nursing, social work and pharmacy traveled together to Uganda under a health sciences IPx grant to explore potential collaborations at Mbara University of Science and Technology.
