2018 Kellogg International Night

Kellogg Eye Center's annual International Night Event is an evening for Michigan Medicine students, residents, fellows, faculty and staff interested in international collaborations and research. This year's keynote presenter is R.D. Thulasiraj, Director of Operations at India's renowned Araving Eye Care Center. Also slated to speak, Chair of Otolaryngology Mark Prince, MD, who has worked with colleagues to establish a U-M Otolaryngology residency rotation in Ghana's Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital; Juan Caceres, a UMMS student who recently visited Vanuatu on a Kellogg-sponsored research project on beta thalassemia; and Opthalmology Resident Philip Garza, MD, who is conducting oculoplastics research with colleagues at Ethiopia's St. Paul's Hospital.
