Join a delegation of U-M colleagues at the world’s largest academic global health conference, set to take place this spring in New York City.

The annual Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) conference runs March 16-18. Faculty from the School of Public Health are set to lead a March 16 panel discussion on cervical cancer screening in low-resource areas, and the event’s poster session will showcase the work of U-M faculty and students from the medical and public health schools, and more. Teams from the University of Michigan Center for International Reproductive Health Training (CIRHT) alone have 13 abstracts accepted for the conference.

The early-registration deadline for the event is Jan. 31, 2018, after which the fees increase by $100. This year’s 9th annual conference will feature WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Clinton Foundation Vice Chair Chelsea Clinton, and Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Laurie Garrett, among others.
