Thursday, July 19, 2018

Global REACH is accepting applications for the 2018-19 session of the Global Health Research Certificate Program. Entering its second year, the training program is open to any U-M faculty (MD or PhD), fellow, resident, or PhD candidate interested in establishing or expanding their research in an international setting. Through a combination of mentorship, monthly seminar events, and an international fieldwork experience, participants will gain the tools to develop and conduct their own research activities abroad. Topics explored include information sources and commonly used data sets in global health; mixed methods research practices; foreign health system structures and financing; building collaborative partnerships overseas and cultural sensitivy; and seeking extramural funding for international research.

Learn more about the program here. Applications are due August 17, 2018 for the upcoming session, expected to kick off in September.
