World TB Day Lecture Features Dr. Karen Kissner

March 24th is World Tuberculosis Day 

Partners in Health Engage is hosting a World Tuberculosis (TB) Day lecture featuring Dr. Dana Kissner, the Medical Director for TB Control in the Detroit Department of Health and Wellness Promotion and the Medical Director of the Washtenaw County TB Program  TB causes almost 4,000 deaths every day around the world, and this disease exists and affects people within Washtenaw County as well. Dr. Kissner will discuss tuberculosis as a local problem using a case study and describing the effects of misdiagnosis. She'll also speak about thinking of TB as a potential diagnosis.
