This symposium will celebrate the career of Dr. Betsy Lozoff, known for her contributions to research on iron deficiency anemia and as the former Director of the Center for Human Growth and Development at UM.  The symposium will feature scientists who will summarize the effects of iron deficiency on child development and consider related controversies based on studies from epigenetic to community levels.
