Global Health Initiatives Forum: China

Thursday, February 23, 2017 - 5:30pm
Taubman Health Sciences Library, room 5000

Redesigned for 2017, the Global Health Initiatives Forum series will bring faculty from UMMS and other health-related schools together to share, discuss and foster international collaborations in various regions of the world. The series continues in February with an event focused on collaborations in China, including the robust UMMS partnership with Peking University Health Science Center. Scheduled speakers include: Sr. Associate Dean for Education & Global Initiatives Joseph Kolars; Global REACH Director of China Programs Amy Huang; Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine Eugene Chen; Professor of Hepatology & Assistant Dean for Clinical Research Anna Lok; and Professor of Family Medicine Michael Fetters. Both faculty and students with a passion for global health and/or an interest in this region to join us. With plenty of time for questions, group discussion, and individual conversations, we anticipate a lively exchange of ideas. A light dinner will be provided.
